State & Local Government Career Resources - State-by-State List
In addition to PSJD's resources on federal government opportunities, NALP has created a state-by-state list of useful ways to begin research on internships and jobs in state and local governments. Here you will find links to information about many different employers: in Attorney Generals’ offices, Public Defender offices, and agencies focused on such issues as the environment, health and tax. We hope this resource, which has been compiled through the efforts of many NALP members, will be of use to both students and law school counselors. If you have any suggestions on how to improve this site, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Asterisks indicate that the website includes job postings, as opposed to being strictly informational.
